A comprehensive history of the Twillingate islands

The Twillingate Museum houses over a thousand artifacts ranging from Maritime Archaic and Beothuk items to collections of family histories, historical photographs, local cemetery data from the twentieth century.

In operation since 1973, the museum is located within the former Anglican Church Rectory built at the turn of the century. The museum features rooms furnished in the style of that period along with exhibits dedicated to significant members of the community.

A well stocked craft shop features local arts and crafts, souvenirs and a wide selection of Newfoundland and Labrador books.
